AAUW Federal Way members enjoy getting together for:

Lively discussions of interesting books:  3rd Thursday of each month at members’ homes.     Books discussed this year have covered a variety of topics.

Working on Needle-arts Projects:  Soup supper at a member’s home on the 2nd Mondays of each month

 Cooking and eating together as a “somewhat gourmet” group

A field trip to Watson’s nursery for spring planting tips

Exploring an interesting local venue each month as the “Classy Chix”   Adventures this year have included a tour of the Rhododendron Garden, a play at the PAEC, a visit to the South King County tool library, and afternoon tea at the Marina Mercantile in Des Moines.    

Coffee and Conversation at Starbucks on the 4th Thursday of each month.  In the photo are two former City Council/Mayors of Federal Way and an active Des Moines advisory committee member.
